Laundry rooms are compact, which means every cabinet is used constantly. Most people store one or two towel stacks at the top and leave the rest of the cabinet empty, because pulling a stack down to reach the back is more trouble than it is worth. - 100 lb capacity, full-extension slides. The shelf should come out completely — not 80% out with the back hanging in the cabinet.

First, the dry, dusty climate gets into everything, including slide rails — quality ball-bearing slides handle it far better than the soft-close plastic hardware you see in builder-grade cabinets, and a quick wipe every few months keeps them running smooth (more on that in our slide care guide).
